Why do the new tabs for things such as Yahoo Mail and Facebook only open small windows, instead of opening these sites completely?

Since my last Firefox update the tabs on the yahoo toolbar you utilize that used to open their sites (Yahoo Mail, Facebook), now only open small windows. What shows in those windows is something akin the Facebook or Yahoo Mail apps on my mobile devices? Why would this be a good idea for someone on a laptop or desktop, who can have multiple tabs open and use the entire site. I hate that I now manually have to go into either the URL bar or search area and find these site and then open them. I thought you were trying to make my internet usage easier, not more difficult.

Explain why and what it was that made you think this would enhance my experience, or anyone's for that matter.

If you are referring to an issue with the Yahoo! Toolbar, please contact Yahoo. Mozilla does not control updates made by developers to add-ons.
