My Firefox 3.6.28 browser keeps crashing unexpectedly. I already tried using Firefox on Safe Mode, but it did not crash. I believe it might be an add-on that might be causing the crashes, but I'm not sure if it is or which add-on is it. I do not want to upgrade to Firefox beyong 3.6+ because I worked too hard to configure/accustom the current 1 I have to my preference. And a lot of my addons are incompatible with Firefox browser versions 4 & up.

Hi erick4good,

If you don't have the issue in Safe Mode while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide and the Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems article as well.

Hopefully this helps!

I am using FF 12. I upgraded from 3.6.28. I never had a problem with it crashing at a printing attempt. My friend uses 3.6.28. As of this writing. FF crashes at every attempt at printing her YAHOO email, a new issue. Is there an easy solution? I read some of the advice here which I do not understand. Would it be easier simply to upgrade her to 12? That version always prints everything and anything. Why is it always the case that using the FILE/PRINT combo for email always prints only one page of the three or four, in YAHOO, while using the YAHOO PRINT choice prints ALL email pages? This is the case for any browser. This is not as important as the crashing issue. Any usable help welcome. [email protected].
