TB window it goes unresponsive whenever you click on anything

When I start TB it downlods messages. As soon as I click on ANY part of window it goes unresponsive. It will not close itself and I have to have windows close it which can take 5 minutes. It does it also in safe mode. Have uninstalled and reinstalled many times. Downloaded the Beta version and it worked for about 15 seconds and then unresponsive. Tried that again but unresponsive immediately. Been using for many years and then this just started. I need access to my old emails. Help!

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem
