I Have a folder in my email that I put important e-mails in I have archived it and that is fine I wish to save it to a usb stick for better security. My Question is how do I save my folder to a different device (USB Stick)?

I was just watching a spy thriller where they spent 100 minutes looking for the lost usb drive that the other spies had stolen. They are not good security. They are prone to damage, loss and failure and copying them is a cinch. However this add-on will let you export mail to a usb drive in multiple formats. I suggest EML as then you can imort them to Thunderbird again when you want them..

Not clear because I look at what you suggest, but see no way to export to my USB so I can then download the TBird email list to another computer.

If you are not capable of plugging in a USB drive and copying files to it, you need paid professional assistance, not a free internet forum.

Don't you dare insult me. I was a computer IT but we never learned to move TBird emails to an USB and then be able to pass on to another computer! Obviously, you need to learn a little culture and stop insulting someone you don't know. I did plug in the USB but no way could I move (and no export solution is available on TBird) the emails to the USB. If you don't have an answer that is viable, best to not respond to anyone in this fashion because I have no reason not to let Mozilla know your nastiness.
