Hi greengen, on Firefox 52 ESR on Windows XP: By default, Firefox prepares 15 thumbnails, but most people only see a part of the set because of zoom. If you zoom out (hold down Ctrl and tap - a few times), does the missing site show up so you can pin it? You also can add a page to the New Tab Page using drag-and-drop from your bookmarks. More info in this article: [[Customize the New Tab page]]. (There might be other methods, but I have to admit I don't remember. What I needed nearly always showed up and I just pinned it.) ---- When you add a new bookmark, it usually is added at the end of the menu/toolbar/folder (as the case may be). You can try an add-on to automatically add new bookmarks at the beginning by keeping the menu/toolbar/folder sorted by most recent first. I have that for quick reference when I don't want to click around in folders. If you want to give that a spin, you can install it from the following page: drag the blue button to a convenient location and it should change to a blue folder with a magnifying glass.
