Firefox sees known html files as TextEdit documents.
I created a new website for an organization. When I tested the website using the files on my computer, it worked well in Safari (Windows, Mac, iPad), Internet Explorer (Windows), and Firefox (Windows, Mac).
I copied the website to the Sites folder on my MobileMe account.
- When I point Safari at the site it works (Windows, Mac, iPad).
- When I point Internet Explorer (Windows) at the site it works.
- When I point Firefox (Mac, Windows) at the site pages, it sees the HTML files as documents and wants to open them using TextEdit.
This MobileMe location is not the final location. It is only being used to test the site online and to share it with people that will have to approve the site. The test version of the site is in its own dedicated directory/folder (CFW).
The final location will be at the root level of its own domain on a different server.
HTML files were created on an old version of BBEdit and moved to MobileMe using the MobileMe upload feature (i.e., I did not use FTP to move the files in to their current location).
I need to know if this is only an issue with my computer and Firefox or all computers and Firefox and what I have to do to fix it so that when the files are moved to their final location, the site will work with Firefox.

There's a problem with the MIME-type that is being sent.
