a new data breach
On 10/9/24 at 5:40 pm I received an email on my Thunderbird account warning me - "Mozilla Monitor found your email in a new data breach" (in subject line). Breach data provided by Have I Been Pwned was in the text. Given that the subject is a breach and that my data has been compromised, I am hesitant to click on any of the links provided fearing that the email itself is a scam.
Please send me a message at [edited] @ucdavis.edu with links to help from Mozilla support. This is very concerting. I have used Thunderbird for many years, but recently it has been problematic and now this! Thank you for your help

The breaches listed by Mozilla Monitor are listed at https://monitor.mozilla.org/breaches
See also https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-do-after-data-breach https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/resolve-breaches-firefox-monitor
Btw Thunderbird is a email client and there is no such thing as a Thunderbird Account like there is with Mozilla Accounts https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/access-mozilla-services-firefox-account
Nobody here on the community support forum does direct support by phone, chat or email so posting your email in public is not a good idea.
