Thunderbird incomplete sync with gmail
I'm trying to move all my email from a Zoho mail account to a newly created gmail account. Both have the same email address. I can export from Zoho but how do I import into Gmail? The settings Tab "Accounts and import" mentioned in many google searched articles doesn't exist anymore in gmail, only "Accounts" and I don't see any options for importing. The Servers in the gmail acct are now already pointed to gmail Imap and smtp servers instead of Zoho's. I dragged and dropped the Zoho's exported messages onto Thunderbird butI see that for example, 300 msgs in "Sent" shown in TB, when I go to my gmail on the browser they show only 173 so the sync is incomplete ...
How do I fully import everything? Thanks, Juan

This sort of cottage industry imap account syncing is very prone to errors and timeouts. You should never move more than a few hundred messages at a time and make sure the internet connection is not congested with streaming music/video or other downloads. It is also a good idea to ensure that any antivirus is not scanning encrypted connections or email while you try this stuff as that can slow things by around 30% and when timeouts are an issue anything that slows things is bad.
Basically you need to ask google how to transfer your imap mail from the zoho server to your workspace server.
