Hello there cjcsalsr We have read your message. We try to help you.

Oké you’re on a computer? Change your Thunderbird version into the version below in this message.

https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/candidates/78.1.0-candidates/build1/

Install this version after deleting that s version what’s running now. The most common version at this time area are the Thunderbird 78.0 versions.

try to start the software in safe mode see here if an erroneous add-on can be found. Boot in safe mode and disable all add-ons and extensions if the program works then it will be one of those that is not functioning properly and replace or remove it.

(incompatible add-on or a broken layout).

Hello there again

I have installed the program and automatically: <window id="messengerWindow" ^

This is why that program won t start up.

The TLS certification are used for a every time visit on the internet. If one of these certificates are not oke it could created that error. There are more of some sort of similair ones. The Thunderbird software I have send you has all the certifications? Do you have more problems on your pc at the moment? Something to do with Tls?

This error occurs when an attempt is made to set a path that isn't valid for the platform. For example, if a character in the path is not valid for a filename. In addition, this error may occur when a relative path is supplied to a method that expects an absolute path and vice versa.

It looks more of a communication error from both sides.

Also, new thunderbird has some older TLS versions disabled by default. Your problem could be related to that as well.

Mozilla disabled TLS 1.0 and 1.1 in the 78 versions, see release notes at https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/78.0/releasenotes/

Try to install this version or a version discribed above in the earlier message.

Hello there again

Here is a document how to use similair problems with Tls. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-78-faq#w_after-upgrading-to-thunderbird-78-i-cannot-get-or-send-email-messages

If you cannot start up the software there is also no way to configure some things? Just reinstall your OS and Thunderbird.

Can you get into the config .editor.? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/config-editor
