1. This version is slower than the old. 2. On Facebook, chat crashes everything when I play Farmville. 3. Trying to use the Automatically Add troubleshooting button below does not work. In fact, it crashes Firefox. 4. Cannot manually add either, because that crashes everything as well. 5. Cannot even go through the Support page on Firefox because it crashes everything as well.

Hello,

The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Refresh Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

I do not want to lose my extensions, since I use them regularly. I have attached a jpg of them. There are also some legacy extensions I don't want to lose either. I may end up using Chrome, which I don't like, for Farmville.

It's very likely that the issue is from those extensions. If you refresh and the issue goes away, then re-install your extensions one at a time and test Farmville everytime.

I'm afraid I'll lose the extensions I'm using. I'm also trying to contact Facebook and Zynga over the issue, but have had no luck there. Not sure what I'll end up doing. Thanks for your help, and if there's any way you know how I can contact FB and/or Zynga for help I'd appreciate it.

Any extensions can be easily re-installed

Actually, many of mine do not have a "disable" button , but have a button to find a new app. Appears as if I'd lose all of those.
