In V35, Firefox continues to run even if all tabs are closed. Now in V36, Firefox terminates when all tabs are closed. Is there a config option to revert back to the original scheme used in V35?

Chosen solution

  1. type "about:config" in urlbar and press enter
  2. type "lasttab" in the filter
  3. find entry "browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab", right click to toggle its value to "false"
