I use the useful Firefox addon "TabGroups Manager" (TGM). But because the CloseGroup button is at a bad location, I accidentially closed an entire group of tabs. Fortunately, I previously saved that tab group as TGMG file.

The question now is, how to IMPORT that file so I get all 37 tabs of that particular group being restored. Thanks.

Hello Hirnsausen,

Thank you for contacting Mozilla Support. You should be able to import your TGMG file under the Preferences for the addon.

  1. Go to about:addons
  2. Click Extensions
  3. Click Preferences for the TabGroups Manager Extension
  4. Click Settings at the bottom of the new window
  5. Click Import Settings and a dialog should open where you can choose your TGMG file.

Please let us know if this solves your issue.

Cheers, Patrick

Hi, that place allows to import a SETTINGS file (*.TGMS), but not the tabs file (*.tgmg).

But it is all tabs I want to load/import from that TGMG file. Thanks. But more help is still required.  :-)
