In the past, I've always been able to use the touch pad to enlarge the text to a comfortable viewing size and it would remain that way. Now in '''gmail''', it is consistently reverting to the smallest size as I type or after. It wants to be the smallest size. I've begun using chrome which does not exhibit this issue. I've looked through preferences and have not spotted a remedy. I too had the crashing upon closing firefox. My screen would go to the blue screen. That appears to have been remedied.
