How do I get an add-on from Manage Extensions page to overflow menu?
When you search for an add-on, then install it, how do I get it from the Manage Extension page to the overflow menu?

Thanks, but that didn't help. From the Firefox about:add-ons window, I see Manage Your Extensions, then it shows which add-ons I have, the ones that are enabled and those that are disabled. I want to move an enabled extension (add-on) to the toolbar or the overflow. I can click View, Toolbars, Menu Bar checked, click customize. Or faster, to click the three bars on the top left of the Firefox window, then click "add-ons." They take you to the same place, which is the place to "Manage Extensions." For example, Video Download helper adds an icon to your toolbar automatically when you add it as an add-on. I'm trying to get Tin Eye, but it doesn't add itself to the toolbar, nor to the overflow. There's no Tin Eye icon on the part of the page that has icons, the customized page, so I can't drag and drop it anywhere. I hope I've written this so you can follow along and tell me just where the icon is once I've downloaded Tin Eye and allowed it to run in private windows?

Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars {web link}
Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar.
Note: about:customizing is no longer present in Firefox 47+ releases.
- Press Alt or F10 to bring up the Menu Bar.Then View > Toolbars > Customize.
- Right-click on a blank spot in the toolbar and select Customize.
In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but; some icons are locked in place.
There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.

Not all extensions add a button to the Navigation Toolbar. Some like this extensions are accessed via the right-click (i.e. you right-click an image). Maybe also ensure that the extension works in a Private Browsing mode window.
Thanks Cor-el. I appreciate this info.
I have a same or similar problem and these answers aren't working. I have 4 addons and they all were visible in the top right corner. When I logged back on my Last Pass disappeared. I moved things to the overflow menu thinking if I created room it would pop back in. It hasn't. So it is basically unusable because I can utilize it at all from add-ons. I know the last year stated not all extensions add a buttone. Last Pass does and has to.
Did you try Restore Defaults on the customize page if you can't restore them otherwise ?
