Turn on suggestions from keyboard
When use Firefox on Android 4.4.4 the keyboard does not show suggestions on the top of it as it does when using the same keyboard in Chrome. Can't find how to turn it on. Please advise.

Try to toggle the settings in the operating system settings.
- Select Settings (from your home screen)
- Select Language & Input
- Select Keyboard & Input Methods
- Select the Settings Icon (near Android keyboard)
- Auto Correction switch it to off.
- Restart Firefox

Hi, This doesn't work only turns off suggestions for the rest of the apps on the phone. As mentioned in the original post, the suggestions above keyboard appear fine in Chrome and other apps, therefore this is a Firefox issue. Does this need to be submitted as a bug? Or is there a setting I am missing in Firefox app for this ?
I am not sure, I am also using Kit Kat, but on a Note 4. I am using the Default Keyboard, the Samsung keyboard. (en-US) I have Predictive text on and hot keys on. This was the other option.
Do you have any add ons with this installation of Firefox?
And the next steps for filing a bug are also possible. bugzilla.mozilla.org. Please post back if more help is needed for this.
No there are no addons, keyboard is stock sony, device is xperia Z phone, strange that it works fine on chrome though
Ok, resetting Firefox may be the next step here. However if there is data on the device, installing beta on the same device will tell you if it was fixed in the next version, and will prevent data loss: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox_beta&...
This is a design decision by the Firefox for Android team. The autocomplete obscures a history row which makes searching the bookmarks and history less useful.
