After updating I still get the message that I am not using the latest Firefox and need to update. I also have an older looking home page not the one I had before the update. I used to have the new looking google default home page.
Not much more I can add. I had what I thought was the latest Firefox, then yesterday there was the message under the google input box saying I did not have the latest version of Firefox and a link to "upgrade now". I clicked on the link and down loaded v9.0.1 of Firefox and installed it. I now have the older looking google home page and it still has the message that I am not using the latest version and need to update. I went through the process of updating again and still have the old looking home page with the message to update. What do I need to do to fix this? Is this not really your Firefox? Thanks for any help you can provide.

You are updated see your user agent :
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
all you have to do is to set another page as the home page, see why is that in cor-el reply here .
thank you
